洋务运动与中国教育近代化

摘    要:随着洋务运动的全面展开,变革中国的传统教育,学习和引入西方式教育已经成为当时中国有识之士的共识.新式学堂的创办、西学书籍的翻译、留学生的派遣、科举制度的改革,对中国传统教育制度产生了巨大冲击,并拉开了中国教育近代化的序幕.但由于洋务派人物坚持“中学为体,西学为用”的原则,因此这些教育改革是不彻底的,具有明显的局限性.

Abstract:With the comprehensive launches of the westernization movement,it was generally accepted by many Chinese people at that time that the traditional education should be reformed and western education should be introduced.The establishment of new-type schools,the translation of western books,the sending out of students,and the reforming of imperial examination system had a huge impact on the Chinese traditional education system,and began the prologue of the educational modernization.But,out of the insistence of the notion that "Chinese learning is the body,and the western learning is for using" made by the persons of "Westernization" group,the reform on education was not thorough and had obvious limitation.
