| 摘 要： | 英语社会传统的化价值观对英语语言有着很大的影响。这种影响表现在词义的演变过程和词义从属关系上的歧视女性现象。这种因社会对男女性别不同的价值判断而导致的“男尊女卑”现象，并不是英语系统的问题，而是语言使用的问题，了解这一点对我们更好地理解和掌握英语是很有裨益的。

| Abstract: | The traditional view of the English society has had much influence on English language. This influence can be seen from the evolvement of vocabulary and from the discrimination against women in the affiliation of word meaning. The phenomenon of regarding men as superior to women, which is caused by judgement of the society according to sex, is not the problem of the English language system itself, but the question of its users. Some knowledge about this will help us have a better understanding and command of English language. |
