Since the reform and opening to outside world,great progress and positive development in our country have been made in the field of ideological and moral construction,but at the same time,the keynote value is fading;the moral relativism is prevailing;the standard of good and evil,honor and disgrace is distorted.All these problems show that the inherent power mechanism of ideological and moral construction is weakened and deconstructed in the great and substantial social changes.As the spiritual connection for constructing the harmonious society,socialist view on honor and disgrace is a supplement and revision to the imperfect cultural conception of unidirectional development mode.Ideological and moral construction guided by the socialist view on honor and disgrace should take the power mechanism into account.Moreover,it is critical that we should uplift the public decency and make the individual good and human.
