苏童小说改编异同比较

苏童的小说迄今已有四部被改编成了电影,分别是改编自《妻妾成群》的《大红灯笼高高挂》(张艺谋,1991),改编自同名小说的《红粉》(李少红,1994),改编自《米》的《大鸿米店》(黄建中,1995)以及改编自《妇女生活》的《茉莉花开》(侯咏,2004)。其中除第四代导演黄建中改编的《米》之外,其他三位第五代导演改编的均是苏童“女性小说系列”中的作品,横向看来,其艺术理念和创作心态的异同颇值得回味。本文仅以张艺谋和侯咏这两位男性导演改编的作品为代表进行比较,探讨一下他们在将小说转换成影像时不同的处理手法和指导思想。

Comparison Between Adaptations of Su Tong's Novels

So far,four novels written by Su Tong,which are Qi Qie Cheng Qun,Hong Fen,Mi,Fu Nv Sheng Huo,have been brought to screen as Raise the Red Lantern High (directed by Zhang Yimou,1991),Blush (directed by Li Shaohong,1994),Da Hong Rice Store (directed by Huang Jianzhong,1995),Jasmine Women (directed by Hou Yong,2004) respectively.Except the Mi directed by Huang Jianzhong,a fourth generation director,all the other three novels made into screen versions by three fifth generation directors belong to the category of feministic novels by Su Tong.That is interesting and worth our study.By making a comparison between Raise the Red Lantern High and Jasmine Women,the author discusses in this article the different approaches and ideas on bringing the novels to screen by Zhang Yimou and Hou Yong.
