| Abstract: | In the process of practical English translation,based on following the theory of translation principle,we should pay full attention to the applications of translation skills.And we should also grasp the cultural factors as well as other factors which influence the translation effects.From the explanatory,practical and interesting angle,this paper elaborates the importance of applying the translation theory to the practical translation by setting the typical example of mutual Chinese-English translation of the word "steal",which is of vital significance to English learners and translators. |
