论北宋文人画

摘    要:陈衡恪八十年前发表的《文人画的价值》一文对今天判断、划分和研究文人画仍有现实意义。北宋文人的画既有行家画,又有文人与院体结合的一类,而典型的文人画则以文同、苏轼、二宋和米芾为代表。他们兼有诗文与书法之长,文名与书名多在画名之上。文、苏的竹石,除士气外,还因或有比兴寄托而具文学意味;二宋和米芾的山水,不求形似,与行家的山水画相异,而有特殊的意趣。

Abstract:Value of Paintings by Amateur Literati written by the scholar Chen Heng-ke eighty years ago still has practical meaning for today’s judgment, classification and research of the paintings by amateur literati. Among the amateur painters, the representatives are Wen Tong, Su Shi, the Song brothers and Mi Fu who were excellent at both poetry writing and calligraphy. Their paintings are especially famous for titles and literary meanings.
