| 摘 要： | 三皇五帝是古人努力建立的一个大体符合人类进化史及中华远古史发展历程的一个有时序的古史体系。在古人那里,所谓三皇五帝主要是一种人类进化发展阶段、历程的安排与推测,五帝恰如夏、商、周或元、明、清一样,其间既有并列发展的族群关系,更主要的则是表达按族群、部落兴旺发达的先后顺序及演变关系排列而成的一种中华远古史,它们本质上是一种族群历史和关系,同时古人又将其人格化,奥秘即在于此。无论三皇或五帝,在古人那里都不是同时并存。仅把三皇五帝视为几个具体的人或康熙、雍正、乾隆那种关系,它当然是伪史,但这有违三皇五帝的本意,也有违古人的本意。顾颉刚层累地造成的中国古史说无法成为否定传说时代历史或三皇五帝古史体系的依据和理由。
