Optimization of Supply Objects Selection for Municipal Water-Supply Industry

Municipal water-supply industry is called " the vitals of the economy, the blood of the city, and a lifeline of the society" , and is considered to be a barometer of municipal economic and social development. As the level of urbanization increases, the foundation function of municipal water-supply industry becomes more and more important. This paper analyzes the reason of water resource shortage, and according to the requirements of unification of social benefit, economic benefit, and environmental benefit, advances the choosing method that the water-supply enterprises select preferable supply objects. The suggested method offers a feasible approach for effective water resource utilization.
