| 摘 要： | 郴州， 字出秦篆。 战国中期， 楚于此置 “林” 邑， 秦置郴县。 西汉初， 分长沙郡南部诸县置桂阳郡，
治郴县城。其政区地名，历有宣凤、敦化、郴州、郴阳、苏仙之称，皆有历史文化渊源可考。

| Abstract: | The place name Chenzhou comes from Zhuanshu in Qin dynasty. In the middle of the Warring States
period, Linyi state was set here in the Chu dynasty, and Chen County was set here in Qin dynasty. At the beginning
of the Western Han Dynasty, it was divided into the southern counties of Changsha County, Guiyang County and
Chen County. Its political district place names, including Xuanfeng, Dunhua, Chenzhou, Chenyang and Su Xian ,
all have the historical and cultural origin to be tested. |
