Early Sartre's Theory of Affectivity: Method and Questions

Following the way paved by Husserl and Heidegger, Sartre naturally keeps off the naturalism ex- planations of affectivity, affirms the inadequacies and baselessness of the positive approach. Meanwhile, as an important theme of affects to apprehend the ontology structure of human reality, and to account for the ultimate responsibility of human reality to all the existential modes of itself, Sartre＇ s understanding of the essence of af- fectivity presents some characteristics different from his phenomenological predecessors explicitly. For this rea- son, Sartre＇s theory of affectivity has become the focus of many disputations.
