中国古代政治文化与欧洲近代民主

本文从东西方文化交融的新视角，阐述了中国古代政治文化对欧洲近代民主的影响。尽管中国古代政治哲学不是现代意义的民主，但其中“重民”、“德治”、“吏制”以及“有教无类”的“教育平等”思想，对于17—18世纪欧洲一大批启蒙学者产生过深刻的影响，成为他们开创近代民主的重要思想文化资源。这是中国文化对人类文明进程的一个重要贡献。

Politics and Culture of Ancient China and Modern European Democracy

In the light of cultural communication between the East and the West, the paper explores the influences of Chinese ancient politics and culture on for European democracy. Ancient Chinese philosophical phlitics and politics, represented by "the rule by morality", "the official system", "the solicitude for masses" and "the equality in education", although not a form of dernocracy in the strict sense, did have a deep influence on a group of initiators of modern democracy in the 17th and 18th century of Europe, which are also regarded as a great contribution of Chinase culture towards the development of human civilization.
