2001年中国农村村民自治发展报告

20 0 1年 ,我国村民自治在抓好村委会选举的同时 ,在促进村级民主决策、民主管理、民主监督 ,推进村民自治的整体协调发展方面做了种种努力 ,取得了不少成绩 ,但也存在一些新情况、新问题。对于 2 0 0 2年的政策选择 ,一要继续抓好村委会选举 ,提高选举的民主化、法制化水平 ;二要做好新一轮农村民主建设的准备工作 ;还要改进和加强党的基层组织建设 ,大力发展基层党内民主 ,用党内民主的积极成果来推动和带动村民自治。

Report on the Development of Rural China Villager Self-government in 2001

In 2001,villager self government had made a great progress in not only democratic election but also democratic policy making,management and supervision as a whole,but there were some new problems to be solved.So,in 2002,some policies should be implemented as follows:First,the election of villagers'committees should be further democratized and held strictly by law. Second,making preparation for new stage of rural democracy.The last,reforming and strengthening the Party's grassroots organizations,at the same time developing the democracy in the Party to accelerating villager self government.
