论北朝的慈善事业

北朝的慈善事业比之前代有了进一步的发展,这在官方、民间和佛寺慈善活动三方面均得到体现。该时期官方慈善事业呈现出在地域、时间上的不平衡性和总体上十分活跃的若干特征。佛寺慈善事业具有和官府关系密切、出现了佛寺慈善机构以及相对前代和南朝更为兴盛几个特点,这些特点对后世产生了深远影响。该时期慈善事业对保持社会稳定、促进经济和文化的发展有一定的作用。

On the Charity of the Northern Dynasty

The charity of the Northern Dynasty,which can be divided into the official charity,folk charity,and Buddhist charity, developed further comparing the charity of former dynasties.The official charity of this period was in a state of imbalance in region and time,but it was very active totally.The Buddhist charity had close relationship with government and was more active than the Buddhist charity of former dynasties and the Southern Dynasty; the Buddhist charity organizations appeared at this time.All the characteristics of the Buddhist charity had great (influence) on the charity of later dynasties deeply.The charity of this period had some positive effect on stabilizing the society and developing the (economy) and culture.
