| 摘 要： | 笔者进行的一份调查结果表明,英语专业高年级学生作文中的许多不足之处是由于文章缺乏衔接而导致的.本文探讨了衔接在英语篇章中的重要作用,着重分析了中国学生英语作文衔接力差的原因,就如何运用衔接理论改善目前英语写作教学状况,切实有效提高写作水平提出了几点思考.

| Abstract: | A questionnaire investigation has revealed that the lack of cohesion is the feature appearing to cover a large number of perceived weaknesses in advanced English majors' compositions. The paper has explored the great importance cohesion plays in constructing English compositions.Besides, the paper has analyzed causes why Chinese students fail to be cohesive in their English compositions,Finally, the author has made some suggestions on how to improve writing performance by applying cohesion theory in writing teaching course. |
