Analyzing the Impact of the Foreign Direct Investment on the Regional Income Gap in Guangdong Province

With the experience and empirical analysis, the article explores the interaction between FDI and Guangdong＇ s regional economic development in-depth and the widening of the income gap. And then the author comes to the conclusion that the regional distribution of FDI is the mainly cause of the imbalance of regional economic development and income gap in Guangdong. in order to achieve the coordinated and balanced development of the regional economy and effectively solve the problem of great disparity in regional development and income gap under the new situation, the labor-intensive enterprises in developed areas should speed up the upgrading and the transition. What＇s more, the less developed areas ought to accelerate inviting the foreign investment so as to achieve a balanced distilbution of foreign investment and an optimized development.
