Zhu Jiusi's Theory and Practice of Higher Education

The paper analyzes Zhu Jiusi's main contributions to the higher education theory and practice based on his new book competition and conversion. He insists on educational reforms and development. He welcomes conversions through competitions, which contributes a lot to the syntheses of certain universities or colleges and to the construction of teaching staff. It is his opinion that a key university is both the center of teaching and the center of scientific research, and that stress should be laid on the improvement of the university leaders' quality and the administration.
