| 摘 要： | 基于北京外国语大学通用英汉平行语料，运用自行编写的检索软件得到以“使”为关键词的汉英平行索引，并应用中国科学院的在线双语句对语料库搜索以“使”为关键词的汉英平行索引。根据这两种语料库得到的索引例子对“使”的各种英译方法进行了分析和归类，得到了六种新的“使”的翻译方法。在调查分析过程中发现，基于平行语料库的新的研究方法可以更全面、客观、有效地得到“使”的各种英译方法，值得推广。

| Abstract: | The paper reexamines the various English translations of a Chinese common worShiby using a new and efficient tool - the E&C parallel corpus. Based on the data from the E&C parallel corpus developed by Beijing Foreign Studies University and the online E&C parallel corpus developed by Chinese Academy of Sciences, by analyzing and classifying the data containing the Chinese word Shi, we obtain six new translation methods of Shi.
