新农村建设中的图书馆建设

在当今社会转型时期推动新世纪“新图书馆运动”，重塑“图书馆精神”，加强农村图书馆建设，不仅关乎我国图书馆事业的发展，而且与我国现代化建设，构建和谐社会、实施新农村建设息息相关。建设社会主义新农村不仅仅在于建造多少新村、多少别墅、多少公路，更在于人的思想文化素质的提高。因而，在社会主义新农村建设中更要突出重视农村的图书馆建设。

Library Construction in the Development of New Rural Society

At this new century, "New Library Movement" , re-building "The Spirit of Library" , strengthening the rural society library construction will not only influence the national library development, but also closely realte to modernization of our country, construction of a harmonious society and implementation of new rural society. The new rural society should not be measured only by number of new villages, villas and roads being built, the people's ideology and literacy level should be highly improved as well. Therefore, it is crucial that we should emphasize the library construction in the rural area of China.
