唐代中国景教与景教本部教会的关系

唐代,基督教的一支聂斯脱利派在中国境内展开传教活动,文献称之为景教。唐时,景教在中国境内并非孤立地开展传教活动,中国境内的景教人士与驻巴格达的景教本部教会组织有一定的联系与交往。景教自入华始即与本部教会组织有了联系,最初至长安的景教士阿罗本即为本部教会组织派遣而来。之后,本部教会组织继续派遣传教士至华,支援中国境内景教徒的活动,使景教得以在华继续传播。会昌灭法后,中国内地景教处于消沉状态,但景教在西域边疆地区仍有所流传。晚唐时期,在西域高昌地区,景教的活动与本部教会之间有着较为密切的联系,高昌景教教团是景教本部教会组织领导下的一个教会分支。

Relationship between Chinese Nestorianism and the church headquarters in Tang Dynasty

In Tang Dynasty,a sect of Christianity was propagandized in China and it was called Nestorianism in Chinese literature.Nestorianism was not spread in isolated situation,the missionaries in China kept in touch with the church headquarters in Baghdad.From the start of its coming into China,Nestorianism had connection with the church headquarters.As the first churchman coming into Chang'an,A-lo-pen was sent by the church headquarters.Afterwards,the church headquarters constantly sent missionaries into China in order to support the activities of their followers and to make the continuous propagation of Nestorianism.After the destroy of Buddhism in Huichang period,Nestorianism in the inland of China was then in a sinking state,but it still had propagation in Western Regions.During the period of later Tang Dynasty,in the area of Gaochang in Western Regions,the activities of Nestorians had intimate connections with the church headquarters.The missionary of Gaochang Nestorianism was a branch ordered by the church headquarters.
