公共理性：现代多元社会的价值诉求

现代多元社会中的价值观、理念的不可通约性不可避免地造成冲突和紧张，公共理性既是良善社会中公民交往的美德与风范，亦是解决冲突、达成共识并走向和谐的社会规则。它具有信任、宽容、妥协、协商等表现形式。公共理性的培育与养成，赖于“公共人”的型塑与造就，个体与组织应从狭隘的个体理性中走向公共理性；政府应重新恢复“公共人”的神圣角色，在权力的运使和责任的担负中凸显公共性，在公共领域中大胆拒绝权利。

Public reason:value of modern pluralistic society demand

As the＂ people discovery＂ has become the main theme, differences in society can be formed, thus modem pluralistic society is formd and matured. Values, the concept of incommensurability may inevitably lead to social conflict and tension. Public reason is not only citizen interaction with the demeanor of the good society, but also a solution to the conflict, and can reach consensus and move toward a harmonious society. Public reason＇s manifestations includes trust, tolerance, compromise and consensus. The cultivation and development of public reason depends on the shaping of ＂public persons＂, and indi- vidual and the organization should go from the narrow-minded individuals to public reason. Government should reconsider the resumption of ＂public persons＂ , their sacred role, their public execution of power and responsibilities and their right to refusal.
