中华性命题是中国后殖民批评的典型,中国后殖民批评把西方的后殖民理论解读为民族主义有其历史的合理性和视域的局限性.中华性的意义是在全球化语境中给予中华文化的发展以自觉意识,其局限表现在:忽视了中国当代文化建设的基本问题,延续了华夏中心情结,对中国现代性与西方文化以及中国传统文化的关系认识不清等.

"Chinesedness" in Current Cultural Criticism

The thesis of Chinesedness is a typical example of postcolonial criticism in China. There are historical reasonabilities and limitations of the visual area for the interpretation of Western postcolonial theory into nationalism by the Chinese postcolonial criticism. The meaning of Chinesedness lies in the self-aware consciousness given to the Chinese cultural development in the global language context, and the limitations are shown in the overlook of the basic question in present Chinese cultural construction, of the perpetuation in the Cathay-centered complex, and of the vague understanding of the relation between modem China and western culture and traditional Chinese culture.
