地方政府竞争提高了经济效率么？——基于省级面板数据的经验研究

沿用地方政府竞争的视角，对改革开放以来的经济效率进行解读。通过对政府支出效率、投入产出弹性、全要素生产率等多维度的度量和测算，发现伴随着中国经济增长，经济的效率在逐步提升。实证研究结果显示，政府支出效率与政府支出结构相关，行政管理费的过高支出不利于政府支出效率的提升；外商直接投资竞争并没有提高资本-产出弹性系数和ICOR；同样，制度和基础设施竞争对全要素生产率的提升效应不明显。总体而言，地方政府竞争对经济效率的提升贡献要弱于市场化、金融发展等因素。

Has Local Government Competition Enhanced Economic Efficiency:——An Empirical Research Based on Province-level Panel Data
