Abstract: From aesthetic perspective, this paper analyzes the hardships and the deep reasons for modern literary texts to converse into literary works in market economy.Under the cultural context of post new era, during which worship is given to power and money, the aesthetic taste of the principal part of literary receivers have changed greatly,i.e.the traditional readers’ humanity and their pursue for the true, the good, and the beautiful have turned into a taste of literary thrill and recreation. The readers’ identity is decreasing;they, along with some conventional writers, comprehend the spirit of literature in their own way, making modern literary works seemly prosperous, yet declining in essence.Abundant literary works are no more than works lacking potential readers. To converse literary texts into literary works, readers now should restrain themselves from material temptation and develop an interest to read classics, and wholly heighten their literary consciousness.
Keywords:hard conversion  loss of aesthetics  literary return
