《红楼梦》后四十回不是高鹗续写。高鹗续书的证据似是而非;高鹗根本没有时间和精力续写二十多万字的后四十回;从程甲本和程乙本的异文中,特别是根据程甲本正确,程乙本改错的事实,可以充分证明高鹗没有续写《红楼梦》后四十回。

Gao E Continually Wrote the Later 40 Chapters of A Dream of Red Mansions: A Mistake in New Redology

The later 40 chapters of A Dream of Red Mansions were not continually written by Gao E for follow- ing arguments.First,the evidences that Gao E continually wrote the novel are specious.Second,Gao E had no time and energy to write these chapters with more than 20 thousand words.Third,the differences in Cheng's first and second editions,especially the fact that some accurate words in Cheng's first edition were wrongly corrected in Cheng's second edition,can prove that Gao E did not write the later 40 chapters of A Dream of Red Mansions.
