"Unrecognized scholar" was the prominent theme of Qu Sao interpreted by literati in the Han Dynasty.In Fu works that imitated Qu Sao or mourned Qu Yuan written in the Han Dynasty,the authors usually strikingly displayed Qu Yuan's destiny tragedy as an unrecognized scholar by deducting,selecting,commenting and appraising his experience,thought and activities.Gradually,a great number of prose and Fu with theme of "unrecognized scholar" were written,by which a huge literary stream was formed in the Han Dynasty.The pathos of "unrecognized scholar" is an intrinsic content of feeling implied in Qu Sao.It is also a sparkle ignited by the impact of the thinking of tragical destiny of themselves and ancient scholars and Qu Yuan's pathos.By such an explanation,the theme of "unrecognized scholar" for the first time appeared clearly in the literary world of the Han Dynasty,and the important standing of this theme in the history of Chinese literature was accordingly determined.
