| 摘 要： | 为了向我国有关决策部门、学术期刊编辑部和论文作者正确认识SCI和EI提供一个参考,笔者利用对照比较的方法,分析、比较了SCI和EI的基本概况、出版形式、收录范围、刊源档次、期刊和论文的选取标准、检索方式和主要特点等指标.最后得出如下结论:SCI和EI是目前国际上广泛承认的科技文献检索系统和评价指标,各有特色,侧重不同的领域,不能简单地认为谁优谁劣;也不能简单地用它们来作为评价我国科研机构、高等学校、学科发展、学术期刊、学术论文和研究者水平的唯一指标.

| Abstract: | The author compares the publishing format, indexing scopes, standards of choosing papers and basic characteristics of SCI and EI to provide a reference for the relevant departments, editors and writers. The paper gets a conclusion that both SCI and EI are very important and cannot be replaced by each other. On the other hand, they should not be considered as the only indicator of the academic level to judge the research institutes, universities, discipline development, academic journals, academic papers and scientists in China. |
