关于现代大学理念沉浮的几点思考

有学者把近百年中国高等教育史一分为二 ,大致是上半叶学习引进欧美 ,下半叶移植模仿原苏联。而前后两种不同的学习模仿对象 ,也派生出两种不同的办学理念。前者强调大学独立、学术自由 ,教师治校 ,以教师为中心 ;后者因大学体制等种种原因 ,出现了大学行政化 ,以行政人员为中心 ,权力意志一定程度上成为高校运作取舍的根本价值标准。在比较中国近百年高等教育前后办学思想差异的基础上 ,认为高校目前尽管已进行了一些改革 ,但仍未触及体制上的根本 ,大学教育行政化的现象还较严重 ,这是妨碍我国建立现代大学理念的主要因素

Thoughts on the Connotation of Modem University Modes

Some scholars divide the 100-year history of Chinese higher education into two parts;learning and introducing from Europe and America in the first half and transplanting and imitation the former Soviet Union in the second half,which developed into two different kinds of connotaion of modes of universities.The former laid emphasis on the independence of universities and the freedom of learning,with teachers as its center running the universities while the latter attached importance to the administration,with the administrative department as its center as a result of the university system.Thus power has become the standard for universities to make a choice on fundamental values.Based on the comparison between two defferent modes of universities,this paper comes to a conclusion that although there have been reforms in universities at present,they don't get to the essence of the matter and the phenomenon of administrationizationin universities is still serious,which prevents them from establishing modern connotations of modes of universities.
