A case study of foreign trade's impact on the economic growth in China: supply perspective

Increasing attention has been paid to the strategy of promoting the economic growth through foreign trade. However, there has been much controversy over the issue of promotion mechanisms and channels. China's foreign trade's promotion of economic growth is phasic. In the transformation from supply-restricting economy to demand-restricting economy, the promotion mechanism has actualized the change from sole focus on increasing foreign currency income increase and the ability of importing capitals to breaking down the double restriction of factor and product markets in China and increasing the factor supply and markets. The increase of capital imports' contribution to China's economic growth cannot be overstressed.
