进一步加深和拓展清代灾荒史研究

近20年来,灾荒史研究最有意义的新进展表现在三个方面:一是社会和学术界对灾荒史学科地位和作用的认识越来越深入,关注和支持的程度越来越大;二是出现了一批内容丰富、质量上乘的研究成果,使灾荒史学科的理论框架逐步清晰,在学科建设上迈出了决定性的步伐;三是初步形成了一支结构合理、思想活跃的专业队伍。当前政府提出了以人为本,全面、协调、可持续的科学发展观,重视人与自然的和谐,灾荒史研究面临着极好的发展机遇。加深和拓展灾害史研究要重视五个结合:社会科学工作者同自然科学工作者的结合、学术研究的开拓创新同历史资料的发掘整理的结合、基础研究同应用研究的结合、中外学者的结合、学术工作者同实际工作者的结合。

To Be Further Deepened and Expanded: the Study of the History of Disasters and Famines in Qing Dynasty

The past two decades has seen significant development of the study of disasters and famines in three aspects.Firstly,the society and the academic circles have shown increasing concern with the history of disasters and famines as they are becoming more aware of the status and role of the subject.Secondly,there have appeared a number of outstanding achievements in the field,which have helped clarify the theoretical framework of the subject.Thirdly,an active and well-manned staff of study has also come into being.With the present government advocating a scientific view of development and emphasizing the harmony between man and nature,the study of the history of disasters and famines is endowed with a great chance of development.The deepening and expansion of the subject requires the integration of five aspects,namely,that of social science workers and natural science workers,academic innovation and the assortment of historical data,basic studies and applied studies,Chinese scholars and foreign scholars,and that of academic workers and practical workers.
