| Abstract: | In Xu Kangsheng's view,Huainanzi inherits the Taoist thoughts that have appeared since the Spring and Autumn Period.And the three views concerning the Taoist thoughts in Huainanzi,which explores the essence of the universe,should be studied concretely.On the other hand,Zhang Yunyi believes that Huainanzi appeared in the ideologically transitional period in Western Han dynasty from the learning about the emperor Huang and Lao Tzu to the sole reverence of Confucianism,and therefore its main idea lies in the reconciliation of Taoism and Confucianism.Ding Yuanming thinks that the Taoist thought,the idea of inactivity,and the integration of the thoughts of various schools in Huainanzi show that the book aims at the construction of a special emperor Huang and Lao Tzu philosophy integrating the thoughts of various schools on the basis of morality.Chen Guangzhong believes that the "rebellion" of Liu An,the author of Huainanzi,narrated in the historical records,is actually an unjust case and there are different causes to Liu An's suicide. |
