张舜徽先生历史文献学成就述要

张舜徽先生对历史文献学理论的探索 ,是从推究“校雠”本义开始的。他强调目录、版本、校勘之学的相互联系 ,以“辨章学术 ,考镜源流”为其共同目标。并循此思路 ,论述古代典籍产生与流传过程中的基本问题和渊源流别。在晚年建构历史文献学学科体系时 ,他确定文献学的范围和任务 ,总结前人整理文献的经验和业绩 ,提出今后整理文献的重要工作 ,具有前瞻性。他还身体力行 ,写下若干文献研究佳作

On achiveements by zhang shunhui in historical philology

Zhang Shunhui's research on the philology of history is based on studying the original meaning of textual criticism. He emphasized on mutual relations between catalog, edition and collating, dissertated the basic problems and genres of ancient books' forming and coming down. In his old age, he confirmed the confines and tasks of philology, summarized the experiences and achievements of criticizing texts in history, put forwarded the important works of textual criticism. He also earnestly practiced what he advocated, wrote some excellent works in the research of literature.
