An Eco- feminist Approach to the Metaphorical Relation Between Nature and Women

The eco-feminism hold that there exists the metaphorical relation between nature and women,while the deterioration of nature and the degradation of women are closely related historically,symbolically and politically.Nature-women metaphors reflect the culture and metaphorical conceptual system of a particular society,in which the control of man towards nature and the superiority of men towards women are built on the same conceptual opposition that patriarchal culture sets up between men and culture on the one hand and women and nature on the other hand.Eco-feminism is intended to form a new nature-women paradigm so as to construct a new framework of value system and social structure.
