试论柳宗元的传记文学思想

唐代古文大家柳宗元在传记文学思想方面有着自己独到的见解。柳宗元认为 ,传记的写作宗旨在于辅时及物 ,经世致用 ;传记作者的神圣职责在于敢于秉笔直书 ,以撰写一代史事为己任 ;在传记材料的搜集上 ,强调实地调查 ;而在传记文学的立传标准上 ,柳宗元主张拓宽传记文学的创作空间 ,并以一批优秀的人物传记实践了他对传记文的创新与开拓。

On the View of Liu Zong-yuan's Biographical Literature

Liu Zong-yuan, the great master of ancient Chinese prose in Tang Dynasty had his own original view in biographical literary theory. He believed its writing purpose was serving for the politics, economy and practice. The sacred duty of the writers was to write the truth without fear and to write the historical affairs. In the collection of the material, it emphasized everything on-the-spot investigation. He advocated to enlarge the creative space of biographical literature and pratice the innovation and the development of the biographical literature by a batch of excllect biographies.
