实践性外语教学体系的基本框架

摘    要:我国外语教学迟迟走不出耗时低效的沼泽,归根结底是教学体系存在问题.为了实现外语教学在新世纪上一个新台阶的战略目标,必须对旧的教学体系进行大的改造,建立起新的实践性外语教学体系.新世纪的外语教学应该以能力培养为纲,以语言实践为主线,充分发挥语言实践在外语教学中的主导功能,高效地、全面和谐地发展学生的各种实际外语能力,从而培养和造就大批时代所需要的实践型外语人才.

Abstract:The main reason why FLT in China has remained time-consuming and ineffective is that drawbacks still exist in the FLT system in operation. In order to achieve the strategic aim for FLT to scale a new height in the new century, we have to reform the old teaching system and set up a new one which takes practice as its basis. Since language practice plays a leading role in FLT, we should regard language practice as the key link and mainstay, and develop the learners' practical abilities of various kinds most effectively and harmoniously, so that lots of personnel of the practice-type are brought up to meet the needs of the new century.
