The Transformation of Libraries' Functions in Cybernetic Society

Confronting new opportunities and challenges in cybernetic society, Libraries have to transform their functions. In details, libraries have to enlarge their functions of imformation reserve, reclaimation, propagation and serving, strengthen education, entertainment, economy function. Libraries' role is the guiding principle of libraries' functions. In cybernetic society, libraries are still intermediate organization, but also information salesman, releaser and communities' core. The transformation of libraries' functions needs certain conditions, ie, idea refreshment, talents training, legal perfection and internet establishment.
