| Abstract: | The modern popular literature took shape in modern times.Its formation and development came from three factors.The pragmatic ideas caused the writers to attach importance to the man in the street.So it is possible for popular literature to come into being.The development of the modern city needed popular literature,and the city life provided the environment and climate for the growth of literature.The flourish of newspapers and magazines helped popular literature take its stand. |
