论叶燮的诗学批评

从贯穿《原诗》的主导思想来看，叶燮延续了传统儒家的伦理道德批评，其“知人论世”说、对人格批评论的推崇和应用等均有鲜明体现。从文本内容来看，其“创新求变”思想尤其突出，叶燮据此以历史价值为准，不仅理论上积极呼吁倡导，而且创作实践上以身作则。从古今、中外的宏观视野来看，其“新变”观承传刘勰、袁宏道而来，对蔓延了中国传统几千年的复古论调是一次极大的冲击与解构，具有一定的现代色彩，对当代中国文论界也是一次警示和启迪。从文体言说来看，《原诗》破立结合、点面结合批评方法的运用，使该著具有尖锐、犀利的文风，于强烈的逻辑思辨性之外，亦有某种品鉴与感悟的诗性。

Ye Xie's comments on poetic writing

It can be seen from the guiding thought in the book Comments on Poetry that Ye Xie has inherited the traditional Confucian ethical and moral approach, which finds expression in his proposal of “knowing the person and commenting from the surroundings”, his admiration and use of personality criticism theory. Seen from the content of Comments on Poetry, Ye Xie is striving for changes and in- novation. Ye Xie takes historic value as the standard, and not only advocates it enthusiastically but al so employs it in his own practice. Macroscopically speaking, Ye Xie＇s innovative ideas find their roots in Liu Xie and Yuan Hongdao, and constitute an attack against and deconstruction of the back-to-theancients tendency that is popular for several thousand years in the history of China, thus carrying with it a bit of modern color and providing insights for contemporary Chinese literary theorists. Seen from the structure and style, Comments on Poetry both criticizes old arguments and proposes new ideas, and proceeds in detail without losing the “forest”, which lends the work a sharp style and gives it rationality, logic and poetic feature.
