Innovation, Opening, Sharing: University Cultural Construction in the Pearl River Delta

The Pearl River Delta region,including Guangzhou,Dongguan,Shenzhen,Zhuhai,etc.,has taken the lead in establishing a new model of a Higher Education Mega Center,geared to the demand of the market and involving government,enterprises and universities.This new model highlights the innovation of the Mega Center through its system and mechanism.It has drawn on an open education concept of overseas Higher Education Mega Centers,underscoring openness in space.Scholars and professors from different countries and thoughts of different schools converge in the Mega Center,underlining the openness in the school-running concept.Drawing on the shared experience of overseas Mega Centers and under the concept of ＂resources-sharing＂,the Mega Center attaches importance to the sharing and opening up of hardware and software resources.The concept of innovation,opening and sharing fully demonstrates the radiation and modeling effects unique to the culture of the Mega Center in the Pearl River Delta.
