重新释读"五四"时期情爱小说 --兼论张资平及其情爱小说的历史评价

"五四"运动之际,情爱小说占小说的90%之多,在"五四"这个深刻的背景下,对情爱小说的反封建礼教、争取个性自由、婚姻自由的意义当有充分的估计.时至今日,我们对情欲与文明关系的复杂表现、对情爱与文明进程的思考,在文学上仍远远不够.在大量再版那个时期的情爱小说的今天,我们对张资平、张爱玲到当代一批小说家在这方面的"一脉相承",当有一个清醒的也是全新的描述,这不独在文学创作上有打通"现代"与"当代"的"史"上的意义,更有现实的价值.

Romantic Fiction in the Period Around the May 4th Movement :Re-inquiries --The Writer Zhang Zi-ping and Assessment of his Love Stories

In the period around the May 4th Movement of 1919,love stories amount to 90 percent of all works of fiction.In the influential background of the movement,appropriate assessment should be given to the significance of the love fiction that is characterized by opposition against feudal ethics,pursuit of freedom for individual character and marriage.In literature until today adequate efforts have not been made to reveal the complex representation of the relation between sexual passion and civilized behavior and,moreover,deep thinking over romantic love and the course of civilization is still insufficient.As the works of love fiction are now being reprinted in great numbers,we should make a sober and new delineation of the same strain followed by Zhang Zi_ping,Zhang Ai_ling and a number of writers of our time.This is not only of historical importance in order to link up present_day and modern literary creative work,but also has practical values.
