The fundamental relation between the poems by Wang Xiaoni and Chan culture

The poems by Wang Xiaoni seem to bear little relation with Chan and are quite different from gener- al Chan poems. However, in terms of perception of the world, way of poetic thinking, language styles as well as self image of the poet, her poems bear deep resemblance to Chan. Her poems are a reflection of the most common and fundamental relation between contemporary poets and Chan culture and hers is a magnificent case in which tra- ditional culture invisibly permeates and nourishes contemporary poetry.
