| Abstract: | Consumerism is a consumption mode of the masses, a concept of values and a way of life, accompanying the American modernization. It evolved from America at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, sprouted in the "Gold-plated Era", rose in the "Progressive Era", and developed in the "Coolidge Period". |
