用党的思想路线指导电视新闻工作

解放思想、实事求是是我们党的思想路线。我党80多年的历史一再证明,党在理论上和实践上的重大发展,都是坚持解放思想、实事求是的结果。解放思想没有止境,实事求是更要一以贯之。电视新闻工作是党和人民的“耳目”、“喉舌”和传播工具。在社会主义市场经济条件下的电视新闻工作,要及时反映人民的呼声,表达人民的意见;要宣传党和政府的路线、方针、政策和工作任务;要及时提供和正确阐明国内外新近发生的大事和新情况;要反映和引导社会舆论。作为电视新闻工作,在新的历史条件下,必须坚持解放思想、实事求是的思想路线,用党的思想路线指导电视新闻工作。

Guiding the Work of TV News with CPC's Ideology

Liberating the mind to seek truth form facts is CPC's ideology. Over 80 years' history of our Party has repeatedly proved that the remarkable development of our Party in theory and practice has always resulted from liberating the mind to seek truth form facts. There is no end to liberating the mind, and we should constantly seek truth. TV news work functions as the eyes, ears, mouths and tongues of CPC and people. TV news work under socialist market economy should reflect the people's appeals and express people's opinions. We should publicize the Party and government's route, policy and work objectives, as well as big events at home and abroad and public opinions.
