原型范畴化理论视域下"from"的空间隐喻拓展

以隐喻认知机制为支点,用原型范畴化理论对英语介词"from"的空间隐喻拓展进行认知研究.介词"from"是以"空间"原型为认知参照点,以隐喻为认知机制,利用家族相似性不断向外拓展和延伸,最终实现从空间概念的始源域到非空间概念的目的域的映射,即从空间域拓展到时间域、状态域、范围域、原因域、否定域以及其他域.

On Spatial Metaphorical Expansion of the Word "From" From the Perspective of Prototype Categorization Theory

Using metaphorical cognitive mechanism and the prototype categorization theory, this paper analyses the metaphorical expansion of the word "from", drawing the conclusion that semantic meaning of preposition "from" gradually extends on the cognitive reference point of "space" prototype by way of family resemblance and eventually finishes the mapping of the source domain of spatial concept to the target domain of non-spatial, that is, the mapping of the domain of space to the domain of time, state, scope, negation and other area.
