论宋明理学与经学的关系

宋明时期许多注经的著作中已经渗透了理学思想,而理学家的讲学内容也大多不离经学的主题。两者关系是"你中有我,我中有你",如果离开对方,便没有真正意义的"宋明理学",也没有真正意义的"宋明经学"。理学是经学演变的合逻辑产物,理学以经学为根柢,同时又是从经学思想中升华出的一种世界观和方法论,反过来理学又指导并服务于经典解释。宋明时期许多理学家的语录是以讲儒家经学为主的,《朱子语类》一百四十卷,有七十九卷是纯粹讨论儒家经学的,这些语录反映了对理学家经典文化的一种深度理解。由于传统教育是经典教育,理学家的一个最终目的和手段,就是用理学思想来重新诠释儒家经典,并通过经典教育来传播和宣传理学思想。

The Relationship between the Neo-Confucianism and Study of Confucian Classics in Song and Ming Dynasties

Many works regarding the explanation of Confucian classics in Song and Ming dynasty penetrated the neo-Confucianism, while the contents of philosophy lecture did not depart away from the theme of Confucian classics. Their relationship shows mutual involvement. There will not be true Confucian classics or true philosophy of Song and Ming dynasty if one left another. Philosophy is the logical product of Confucian classics evolution, whereas philosophy were rooted in Confucian classics and sublimated to a value and methodology.
