十九世纪与二十世纪之交意大利真实主义歌剧

19世纪末至20世纪初,欧洲进入了从资本主义发展为帝国主义的社会大变革时期,社会发生了几次大的运动,也出现了形形色色的哲学思潮。值得一提的是在文学、戏剧和音乐界掀起了一股真实主义思潮,在以法国作家左拉为代表的自然主义和意大利韦尔加为代表的真实主义文艺思潮的影响下,意大利出现了真实主义倾向的歌剧,普契尼、马斯卡尼和列昂卡瓦洛是意大利"真实主义"歌剧的重要代表人物。他们的创作即使在21世纪的今天也是我们学习的典范。
