| 摘 要： | 通过对出土文献与传世文献中有关繇的词义分析,认为秦汉时期的繇并不是一般意义上的徭役或苦役,它含有繇使、繇役等多重语义,其中繇使就类似于出公差,秦汉时期的一般官吏随时都有繇使的可能。

| Abstract: | On the basis of the analysis of the word meaning of Yao which was recorded in the unearthed documents and the historical documents handed down, this paper considers that the word meaning of Yao during the period of Qin and Han is not equal to the meaning of corvee (yao yi) and hard labour(ku yi) generally. Yao has multiple meanings such as Yao Shi and corvee (yao yi) and etc. And the meaning of Yao Shi refers to a business trip. During the period of Qin and Han, every common official had the opportunity to go on a business trip whenever necessary. |
