| Abstract: | This thesis is a sister piece of the author's earlier paper, on Sexism in Both English and Chinese Languages,which has been published in Foreign Languages and Their Teaching this year. So this paper mainly describes and compares sexism that exists in both English and Chinese traditional cultures. At the same time, it also makes an account of the contribution by feminists to the struggle for women's equal rights. |
