《型世言》的价值取向和叙事模式

晚明拟话本小说《型世言》以“树型今世”为编著目的,在题材选择、情境冲突及人物形象的塑造上与同时期拟话本小说相比,其恪守礼教摒弃世俗人欲,重振传统文化的价值取向十分明显。小说采用叙事 议论的叙事模式,情节平铺直叙,固然朴实,却缺乏艺术性。作者注重小说的教化功能,忽视其娱乐功能,所以造成《型世言》的艺术价值与同时期拟话本小说相比存在着较大的差距。

The Value Orientation and Narration Mode of "Xin Shi Yan"

"Xin Shi Yan",a "NiHuaBen" novel of late Ming Dynasty,with a compiling purpose of "Setting Models on Later Generation",possesses an obvious value orientation of regenerating traditional culture through preserving strictly conflict ethical code as well as discarding sophisticate human craving,compared with other NiHuaBen novels in the corresponding period in subject choices,situation conflicts and characterization.The author combined narration with argument together and narrated the plots straightforwardly.Although simple,the plots suffer from lack of artistic feature.The author laid too much emphasis on the novel's enlightening instead of entertaining function,causing a wide gap in artistic value between "Xin Shi Yan" and other NiHuaBen novels in the corresponding period.
