瑶族民间组织是指在瑶族社会中,由瑶民自发组织形成的,调整瑶族社会关系的村寨机构。瑶族民间法是指瑶族人在处理和调整民族成员之间的关系时,用以约束全体成员,维持社会秩序,解决争端和纠纷,逐渐形成的共同行为规则。瑶族民间组织和民间法在当今瑶族社会中仍有现实的影响,这些影响是多方面的,既有维护社会治安、促进瑶山经济发展、传递民族文化的正面影响,也有阻碍瑶族社会发展的守旧、保守落后的负面影响,我们必须因势利导,发挥其积极作用,消除其消极影响。
