The Controversial Issues on Heavenly Principle and Human Desire,Righteousness and Utilitarian

This thesis tries to elaborate some of the controversial issues on heavenly principle and human desire,righteousness and utilitarian referred to by neoconfucianism who epitomized the thoughts of Song Dynasty by reinterpreting them.The author holds the opinions that righteousness and utilitarian,heavenly principle and human desire represent two opposite sides in a unity of contradiction.Meanwhile,he expounds that human desire and utilitarian in conformity with heavenly principle,righteousness and ethics,which are also necessary for our survival,should be recognized.Those not in conformity with them,however,should be negated and extinguished.
